The Chicago Lying-in Hospital and Dispensary

This fundraising booklet briefly describes, with photographs, statistics of the hospital and the distribution of the 4000 deliveries conducted there annually. The typewritten percentages of that distribution are corrected (over the type) to read: 32% are free, 42% are part pay, and 26% are full pay. The chiefs of services are named - Drs. J. B. DeLee and Fred L. Adair, as well as the officers of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Earnst Freund, President, Mrs James Weber Linn, Secretary, and Mrs. Marcus Andrew Hirschl, Treasurer. The Director of Administration is Miss P.H. Braithwaite. Photos include the hospital, the clinics, a four bed ward and a nursery.
